Cinnabar

red crystals and in red or brown amorphous masses.
Cinnabar adds a distinct color to the mineral color

ranges from bright scarlet or cinnamon red to a brick
red with an adamantine to submetallic luster in darker
specimens. The gemstone's hardness is 2 to 2.5 and is
used for making beautiful jewelry.
